Central banks want to restore their credibility as guardians of price stability and will therefore continue to raise interest rates in the coming months, while large price-insensitive buyers of government bonds are now playing a much smaller role than in recent years. This has pushed interest rates sharply higher, but the question is how much fuel is left in the tank for a further rise…
