Liquidity support will nip banking crisis in the bud for the time being

Central banks are doing everything they can to prevent a liquidity crisis from turning into a bank solvency crisis. We expect central banks will be reasonably successful in the coming months, but this will not be enough to prevent a recession later this year. Therefore, in the short term, interest rates may rebound, but later this year we expect a decline to new lows…
