Persistent risk of higher inflation puts Fed and ECB on the spot

Inflationary pressures persist and will lead to interest rate hikes. The Fed will follow last week's first step with hikes this year and the next. Europe faces more economic and geopolitical headwinds. Therefore, the ECB will say goodbye to the negative deposit rate at the end of the year at the earliest.
