Uptrend in long-term interest rates is intact

Despite good growth expectations and increasing upward pressure on inflation, long-term interest rates have fallen in recent weeks. There are a number of good reasons for this, but the result is even more negative interest real rates, which will stimulate growth and inflation even more. We therefore continue to expect, on balance,  a further rise in long-term interest rates in the coming quarters.
